our story

building a better and safer future through code compliance and attention to detail, especially with passive fire safety and structural elements. no one should be exposed to a less then safe condition because of poor craftmanship or bad inspections, we strive to ensure the building is compliant with code, design professionals and the owners.

our purpose

I Started in the welding/construction industry fresh out of the military, back in 2004 after serving in the 75th ranger regiment as a paralegal. the 1st few jobs were welder assistant and cell tower inspections. from there, i got my 1st welding qualification, and shortly after, my certified welding inspector certification from the American welding society. i have over 20 years experience in structural welding inspections and special inspections, primarily in passive fire protection in risk cat. 3 & 4 buildings.

our goal

we want to ensure the safety of the end user, and the public in general while also staying within budget and project deadlines. the lose of life or equipment is unacceptable, we take pride in verifying all inspected work meets the requirements for the project and applicable code..

  • performing inspections in compliance with astm 2174 & 2393. poorly installed firestop systems are the leading cause of death in a commercial building during and after a fire occurs. Ensuring the installers, contractors and Authorizing Authorities are performing their respected duties to the standard of the codes, thorough inspections, attention to details of firestop products, system and overall knowledge of how to achieve compartmentalization of areas within a structure

  • Inspections are conducted utilizing the applicable codes, such as AWS D1.1, AISC 360, ASME B31, and NCBC chapter 17

  • available for inspections in accordance with the NCBC chapter 17 for reinforced concrete, precast concrete, structural masonry, cold form metal framing, spray on fire resistant material, bolted connections and steel framing, and fabrication shop inspections
